David MacInnes photoDavid MacInnes has a wealth of experience having spent many years of his childhood in Jerusalem, where his father later became Archbishop of Jerusalem. David was a curate at St Mark’s from 1957 to 1961 under the then Vicar, John Collins. During that time he built up the young people’s work, setting up the first Pathfinder Group in St Mark’s and ran the lively Youth Club, which was attended by around 140 young people, including some local notorious members of gangs.

David went on to serve on the staff of St Helen’s Bishopsgate and Birmingham Cathedral and was Rector of St Aldate’s Oxford for 15 years before his retirement in 2002.

David is a well known and respected conference speaker with a heart for mission and we look forward to what has to share with us.

Some members of the current St Mark's leadership team were able to catch up with David last March at the New Wine Leaders Conference in London. The picture is of our Curate, Rev'd Amanda Maskell with him!
